ELIMINATION ROUND: Task Seven - Double Trouble

Hello Ladies,

This task is supposed to test every aspect of your fashion ability. I'm sorry for how long it has taken me to get this up, it has been accident over accident. So over the past month you were supposed to create two different outfits in two different colors in a posed scenery. Then two combine both colors in one outfit.

OVERALL JUDGING CRITICISM:

Some of you excelled in one area of the task while others did not. When doing tasks like these it is good to stay consistent in the competition and put out your best work each time.

CRITIQUES

BeatsInAllegro

Circee.: You are improving on your scenery poses but I still think you could be better. I understood the theme, I like the ballet outfits, it fits nicely with the black and red scheme. It is a very simple yet elegant scenery. I like the outfit, it isn't my favorite, but it some how all looks great together. My one concern would be to get rid of the clutch, it doesn't really add to the outfit.

Mirdith: The mixing outfit looks good, but I think you could have done it better. Personally, I think that your combination was the easiest one, and I think you could have done it way better. I’m not saying is bad, I just think that with those two colours you could have created a great outfit, i love them together. Also there’s a lack of accesories (any!), but, I love the makeup. The scenary....well, you need to work a lot on posing, looks very fake both of them! I like the idea of the ballet thing, but the scenary is very basic. If the posing was better... maybe it could have done a better effect. But I think you should have tried easier poses and focus in creating stunning outfits.

Circee.: I'm actually quite fond of both your duo outfits in the scenery. I'm not so fond of the background of the scenery though, it is a little off putting. The poses are well done. I love your white outfit, the hat is by far the best accessory, I love it! Your two-color outfit is cute but...I feel like it is lacking something that steps it up for me. It is a good outfit, but I feel as a whole it could be better.Plus your description is lacking.

Mirdith:Love the outfits you made.The 3 of them are so cool and sophisticated. The one in the album, maybe you could have add a bag and some more accesories, but looks good and minimalistic. I like it. The ones in the scenaries are... perfect! Love both of them specially the white! So elegant. Also I like that you maintaned the purity of white using only one shade of it and on the purple that mix of purple shades. Looks good! The poses are good too. The only thing I dont like is that white curtains tha covers parts of the outfits. I think they look a little random. Other than that: great!

Circee.:I understand that your theme was parent trap, but that doesn't mean to create a simplistic outfit. Both outfits were not so up to par, you could have done so much better. You have nice poses, but the background of the scenery is kind of a mess. Your duo outfit was MUCH BETTER! It is the perfect colorful grunge outfit. You mixed blue and orange perfectly.

Mirdith: I love both tasks. Something in the outfit of the album makes that it’s not perfect, but i love it! I don’t know if I can express myself. Anyways, good scenary, and great outfits. They have accesories and look very good. Both of them. Also they fit with the theme you gave. The mixed outfit looks great! When I say your combination I thought... blue and orange? Weird.... But you made it look so cool! Well done!

Circee.: I'm not sure what you are trying to portray in your scenery, it lacks detail, I do not understand the balloons purpose. The poses are a mess, and do not look realistic. The duo outfits are all right, they are a bit messy, but they do stick to your color scheme. I am not a fan of your two-color outfit, it is messy, and does not coincide with one another. You could have done so much better on this task.

Mirdith: The mixing outfit looks good, and I understand that it can be difficult to make an outfit with few clothes in that colours. Anyway, it’s good, I like it!

The scenary.... well, you did it good, although the poses need more working, and the outfits are too plain. It doesnt look bad, but I think you could have created better outfits for the scenary.

Circee.: For your duo scenery, I FELL IN LOVE. I love your mint/brown theme, those are two colors that really complement each other. Each outfit of the scenery was GORGEOUS! You picked by far the perfect shades of the colors I gave you. Your poses are well executed good job. But, I'm not as much of a fan of your two-color outfit. I feel like the bag doesn't fit all together with the outfit, the dress is beautiful though.

Mirdith: The scenary looks very good. I like how you put the background in the opposite colour. Looks good. About the outfits...well you used the aprópiate colours and looks good, but I think you could have add some accesories to make them look more special, you know? Not as “basic”.

The outfit is good, and here I apréciate not having accesories, as you said it would look too much over done. Its good, but again maybe a brown bag? You know if the task is specially mint and brown you shouldn’t add a white (even if is printed) handbag.
Other than that, both parts are good and I like them.

AmongTheRoses.... I'm so sorry, but your task scored the lowest. You were so strong during the start of the competition, you could have done so much better, your first outfit actually scored higher then the second outfit, but sadly it wasn't good enough. Good look in your model life, I know you will go far!
