TASK TITLE: Strike a pose

This will be the first scenery task this season! HOORAY! I don't just want any scenery I want a posed scenery! Be unique be different create a different pose each time You will be judged on the creativeness of the pose and the overall uniqueness of the background of the scenery. Be different, don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone! The weaker the pose the lower the score and better chance you have at getting eliminated. MAKE THE SCENERY IN THE CLUB SCENERY PLEASE. ELIMINATION ROUND: Task Three-Katy Perry Maniac

Hello Ladies,

This task was all about the makeup. The girls were given a Katy Perry music video to recreate the makeup from the specific video they were given. This task was given to see who could very creatively recreate the makeup she wears. Katy wears very bright colors, and a heavy mascara, some of the girls noticed this extensively bright makeup, while others failed too.

For this judging round, us judges are giving harsher criticism, as well as marks, so take that in mind, the competition is getting serious now so please pay attention to your criticism.

You had a good run while it lasted ladies, I'm quite disappointed that this is how you get eliminated, because you did not even complete the task.

OVERALL JUDGING CRITICISM:

Me and Mireia both agree that you need to utilize the STARPLAZA! The starplaza gives you so many more options to recreate the makeup. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TAKE A SCREEN CAP OF IT, upload it to tinypic or imgur and then comment on the task discussion with the link. A lot of the makeup looks could have been A LOT better if you used that option.

Circee.: 6 I know Katy is known for her cat eye, but in this video the doesn't have a cat eye, the wears a taupe eye liner, a light pink eyeshadow, and a heavy mascara. The lips are the perfect colour pink. THe hair is not my choice. I don't remember her having her bangs in her face ever in that video. But the essence of Katy is in the makeup.
Mirdith: 6 You focused on the cat-eye and I don’t think she wears that much cat-eyed. I mean, she is wearing a thick line above the eye but not that cat-eyed you made. Also, the lipstick I think is more natural, not so pink. The blush is ok, but I’m not a fan of the hairstyle you chose either.  Plus, I think she is wearing a bit ok grey shadow on her eye, but very softly. And you didnt use any shadow. 
I think that you could have done a better job recreating the look when she is a marine. 
crazy13_me: 7 The overall look is fine and nice, quite simple but it's simple in the video as well so it's alright.

Circee.: 4 I understand the look you were going for, but none of the colors match The colors in the video. It is a neon yellow/green, you chose more of a flat green. I can not feel any sort of Katy Perry vibe. Her lips were orange, her cheeks were hot pink. Use starplaza like I suggested and the look could have been a lot better. :)
Mirdith: 4 You applyed the green shadow very rudely. Also I think in starplaza you could have found a more bright green shadow similar to what she wears on the video. The eyeliner... is way too thick, and she is wearing a little of white on the corner.  The hair is ok, I like it, looks very Katy Perry. The lipstick... you could have found a more similar one in starplaza too, more orangy. The blush... she is wearing a little of PINK blush, and you used RED! Is totally different! 
crazy13_me: 3 The overall look is a total mess, especially the eye shadow. You have to be careful how much of it you use and how you spread it on the eyelash, in a way that it looks smooth and elegant. The eyebrows are too high and they should've been black as well to complete the look,the blush  is barely noticeable and it's kinda orangeish. Choose your colors carefully, (e.g. the green is too green) and make the overall look look agreeable and pleasant.

Circee.: 7 I liked it, but the eye shadow could have been a darker purple/ smokey grey similar to the video all across the lid. I love the red lipstick, that aspect was perfect.The color of the hair is fantastic, but the style does not do it for me, I do not see her luscious purple curls, but other than that I think you comprehended the video very well.
Mirdith: 9  Looks totally like her. Just seen it I knew it was like the video. Each element is perfectly chosen, the dark red lipstick, the thick eyeliner and the black soft shadow. Also the purple hair and the lack of blush. The only thing that keeps me from giving you a 10 is that you could have applied the shadow better. The one on the left is not as good as the right. Other than that: GREAT! 
crazy13_me: 2 Be more creative with your make up!  the false eyelashes are just too much and the hair is messy. But I do like that you kept the purple hair color.

Circee.: 7 I think you did a wonderful choice for the hair and the lips. I would have changed the eyeshadow, she has a lighter color swept under her brow, like a transluecent white, and a thicker black eyeshadow across the lid, but other than that it is great.
Mirdith: 8 I like that you tried to do the eye shadow she wears. It’s difficult, and I think you could have done it better. The hair and blush is ok. But I would have chosen another lipstick, not that one cause is too bright. 
crazy13_me: 8 It's nice and I like it, but the blush looks random so be careful with that and don't exaggerate with the mascara.

Circee.: 8 I loved the eye shadow and lipstick. EXACTLY LIKE THE VIDEO. My only problem is the glasses, If you took those out an put fake braces in it would have been a lot better.
Mirdith: 8 The eye make up is great! Very similar, you did a good job. Although, I think that you could have used more rimmel or fake lashes. The blush is fine. The hair is well chosen too. But... you put her glasses, and the make up you did is from when she gets changed... well, I assumed that. If not is not that good. If yes, then... why the glasses? She is not wearing them after the make over.
crazy13_me: 4.5 I know that the look from the video is supposed to look...different but this is just too much. Even though the face expression doesn't mean "make up" it matters a lot in a look! The eyebrows, the lips, everything counts. The eye make up is very nice, I loved that.

Circee.: 7 The lip makeup was fantastic, my absolute favorite makeup aspect about your task. The eye shadow should have been a more silver color, instead of white. The eyelashes were great. I don't know why you you used two hairstyles because the one with the bangs fits the Katy Perry video look exactly.
Mirdith: 7 I don’t get why the three pictures are differing one from others, in the lashes and hair. But anyway, the make up is good and looks a lot like the one Katy Perry wears in the video. But, you could have done it in starplaza and found a glittery shadow that actually is what she is wearing. About the hair, I’m so confused why you used two. I suppose its because she changes on the video, but you have to chose one. The short one convinces me more than the other one. The lipstick and blush is ok. So are the eyeliner and mascara.
crazy13_me: 8 Overall look is nice and smooth, just a little too much white eye shadow and in the first picture the false eyelashes are a little bit too much.

Circee.: 7 The hair was amazing! Good job, I know you had one of the harder makeup videos then the rest, and that was completely at random, but this video would have been an excellent job for you to stand out from the rest. I feel like you went a little to heavy with the black eye shadow, It is just a lengthy cat eye in this video with an unearthly silver blue eye shadow. I also wished that you used a lighter shade on the lips, they were not that dark.And to put a cherry on top if you had did a similar straight eyebrow like she had in the video the look would have been perfect.
Mirdith: 9 The make up is great, so are the dark spots on the face. But shes only wearing them only around the eye, not on the cheeks too. Anyway, it's good and looks exactly like hair. The hair you chose is perfect too, so is the lipstick. The only thing that I don't like is that you used too black shadow. She is wearing a thick eyeliner, but not that thick. Anyway, great job.

Circee.: 6 I love the hair, the color is close to perfection, the lips could have been a lighter shade of pink, the eye shadow should have been a glossier pink sparkle color. The eye liner and mascara are great, just work on similar eye shadow color.
Mirdith: 5 The hair is well chosen, and although maybe you could have done it in starplaza and found another better, the dye is not bad. The shadow you used is red... but she is wearing glittery purple! That you can found it on Luxe in starplaza too. The eyeliner should get through all the eye, in the corner too. And the blush and lipstick is more pinkie than red, and you used red. Also, the shadow on the left eye, does not look as good as the right one.
crazy13_me: 5 Too much eye shadow, too much blush and the bottom eyeliner doesn't look nice.

Personal Judge Criticism and Marks:

Dainty-Doll-6, Every aspect of the outfit separated is great, but put together they create a messy outfit. I like the shoes, but they do not match the theme of the dress, neither does the hand bag, not even a little bit. With the hair and the makeup you definitely went glamorous, but the look as a whole doesn't quite fit together, work on all the elements of an outfit coming together. BeatsInAllegro-8, I can see that outfit being worn at the Oscars, but something is quite working for me with the hair and makeup. I absolutely love what you did with the outfit, but I feel like a hair that was maybe going down the back would have completely made the outfit perfect. Maybe a darker eye. But the outfit is simple and glamorous, just like at the Oscars, well done. Blueh-recalled out of competition FriedChen-0, eliminated BeadBabe-7, I like the idea that you completely created your own dress but to me it doesn't scream Academy Award winning outfit. It might be if a child wore it to the Oscars. The dress all in all is wonderful, but it isn't glamorous. It is cutesy, if you had added another flouncy red skirt at the bottom to make it longer it would have been perfect, but the size of it is not Oscar worthy, most prominent Oscar dresses are longer, for example, Jennifer Lawrence, Jessica Chastain, and Halle Berry. Ziz-0, eliminated Mikatsi-8, I absolutely love the dress, the shoes, and the earrings. But I felt like the other accessories just didn't help with the over all theme of glamour. Hair and makeup absolutely screamed the Oscars, but I'm not a huge fan of the bag, It doesn't help the glamorous aspect of your outfit. krysia1buziak-0, eliminated SoulGina-7, The dress and shoes match perfectly with the theme you were trying to convey, my only concern is the accessories, makeup, and hair. The outfit screams Oscars, but not the makeup or hair. Pink does not compliment blue, and the earrings do not fit at all with the glamorous outfit you created. Also with a dress like that, you either go with an updo hair similar to Salma Hayek, or very windblown with soft curls, like Angelina Jolie. carlae9-7, There is a lot going on in your outfit, I understand you went for the creation of your own dress, but it is at the point, where the dress just looks crazy. If you removed the fur scarf and gloves the outfit would be a lot better, also the clutch is to much for the outfit. Your hair does not fit the dress, a soft updo would have been best. LondonToParis-8, outfit, shoes and accessories go together wonderfully, my one concern is that the makeup is a bit much, it isn't glamorous, it is a tad bit to much, it is not very Oscar friendly. Overall the outfit is TOTALLY glamorous. AmongtheRoses-7, I enjoy the makeup, it goes great with the dress, one criticism would be to use a less eyelashes. The dress is adorable, I would perfer a different set of shoes, Maybe red, or blue, to fit the color scheme you have created. My one major dislike would have to be the hair. I'm not a fan of the hair with that dress, it makes the outfit look less Oscar worthy. pArAdIsE_134-7, I'm a huge fan of the dress, but the neckline just makes my think of a Cleopatra Halloween costume, I know it is a Cleopatra inspired dress, but you did a wonderful job acessorising, the light green clutch compliments the blue/green colors in the dress, and the white shoes go nicely with the light colored scheme. And again, like so many of the others, the hair just does not go with the look at all, it doesn't add to the regal and glamorous look that the Oscars have, or Cleopatra has, the hair makes it literally look like a Halloween costume. I LOVE the makeup though, very well done. issysmileyface-5, I hope your inspiration was Helena Bonham Carter, because this dress is not very Academy Award winning.The outfit is completely scattered, and not at all glamorous. I understand that you were trying to go edgy but this is not even an Oscar dress anymore. Maybe you could sell this dress to Helena Bonham Carter for her to wear, but this is not glamorous. underthelights3-recalled out of competition janecullen03-0, eliminated sceanable-8.5, I love love love, the dress. It is exactly what I had in mind, the tights and shoes compliment it perfectly, I'm not a huge fan of that clutch, and maybe a darker color pump shoe, like all black, would just perfect this outfit. This was exactly what I had in mind. The one thing that loses it for me is the eye makeup, just a smidge to much, lose the earrings and it is great.

The hairdo is good for he event, but I think that the make up is too natural. I mean, she could have created a better natural skin effect, more sophisticated. The lack of accessories I think that make her lose some points too. I don’t mind not wearing any jewellery if the dress is very extravagant, but that’s not the case. She could have added earrings, necklaces or bracelets perfectly.
About the dress... well, is not bad but I think it should be more glamorous.
I do like her option for shoes, but the handbag... I don’t think it fits with the dress or shoes at all.

I like the dress choice very much. She could have added a bracelet, I think it would have looked better. Also, a more smart handbag would have been better. About the hair, well I wont say anything, but the make up... is the same she is wearing!! Red lips would have made her stunning! Too simple.

Make up and hair is perfect! Also the dress is glamorous and great for the red carpet. But, I would have preferred some elegant shoes, because this are too modern and casual although they don’t look bad! I like it, but I think it could have been better.

The make up could have been better. And a bracelet or purse is needed (in my opinion). I love the dress, and the shoes are ok. The earrings don’t fit with the dress too much, but they don’t look bad. I think that the hairdo looks too casual for the Oscars. But despite that, I like the final result.

The make up looks great. The dress fits with the accessories, and everything looks good. The only thing that doesn't convince me is that I think that the make up is very classy, Marilyn style, and the dress is more modern. But well, it's ok, and has the right characteristics.

I don't like it. It has no accessories, the hair looks like she just woke up. The make up could have been better, and the dress looks very weird like the ones Helena Bonham Carter wears. Also the shoes aren’t glam!

The dress is great! Perfect for the occasion, and the accessories look good with the rest of the outfit. The hair looks that she has taken care of, and the make up is good too. The only thing that keeps me for a ten are the shoes. They look good, but some green shoes would have looked great! She could have had a bracelet too.

The outfit is extravagant, I love it. She could have used a better shoes though. Orange and red... well, they don’t look terrible but black sandals could have been better I think. Love the make up and the gold accessories (the tiara is perfect). The hair looks good too.

Love the dress and how it looks with the shoes. But the colour of the purse doesn’t fit with the nude colors of the dress and shoes. Also this earrings are from another style and doesn't look glamorous, neither they fit the dress. I like the rings and hair and the make up is ok.

Its very original and its not bad, but there's something in the outfit I don't like... I don't know, maybe is too dark. But anyway, the make up and hair is great! So are the accessories!

I love it! Very glam and perfect for the Oscars, This kind of dresses you only can wear them on a night like that. I love how it looks the top with the skirt and the shoes and hair is adequate. But... I would have liked some jewellery.

Hello Ladies!

Sadly, I have to say one of the fellow competitors has dropped out of the race. underthelights3 has told me that she is dropping out of the cycle for personal reasons that would get in the way of her completing the tasks. She very courteously thanked me for the opportunity and left.

This slight change of events will not effect the elimination round in any way.


If any of you ladies have a personal or social responsibility that will take up most of your time on stardoll I'd rather you resign. I wouldn't want the cycle to stand in the way of your life.

Who will make it out alive?

We are rounding off the first day of task two and already have steep competition. Most girls are adapting to this new model lifestyle, and hopefully will be able to progress throughout this competition.

For task two there will be TWO ELIMINATIONS. 

Because the fact we have two extra models, and the first task contained no eliminations, we will have to ax two wonderful models.

Who is it gunna be? Who will prove to be the best, and who will be left standing in the dust?

Task Two: Oscar After Party

I have been in love with the oscars since I was a little girl, my dream is to be an on screen comedian/ actress, and the oscars is the biggest reward an actress can receive. Some of the most memorable scenes of the oscars happen on the red carpet, the spectacular dresses, and 5 star tuxedos. 

For this weeks task you are going to create a dress that you would wear to the oscars, you can get inspired by previous dresses as long as you mention whos dress you are trying to recreate. But if you create your own dress you wear you must utilize everything, the dresses should be spectacular! Don't forget to style your dolls hair and accessories to match the dress you have created! REMEMBER, The dress should be G O R G E O U S.
